We’re on the eve of Mary’s Mosaic Monday and Sally’s Blue Monday. Visit these great hostesses to see some more mosaics and pretty blues from around blog land…
Dear and I had our “last” dawn walk at Emma Wood State Beach in Ventura, California this past Saturday. A crisp beautiful morning after a rain. Soon we will be on the road headed back to Seattle. We’ll miss the beautiful California beaches.
My blogging will be limited this week. I have 5 more days here and my services will be shut down sometime later in the week. I hope to get around to as many of you as I can. I hope you all have a great last week of February…
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
I’m sure your days will be busy, Ellen. I’ll miss seeing this area of California through our eyes. Wishing you an uneventful and smooth transition. Hugs!
This is a beautiful sight I tell you. I love it. But I’m sure Seattle as just as many wonderful sites as this π
You have a great week yourself. Enjoy your “last” week in CA…
Blessings.
Praying for you…this last week down south.
Enjoy your last days and all I have to say is, “Seid nicht trauig, das die schoned Tage vergangen sind…sondern freut Euch das Sie gewesesn sind.” Meaning in english, “don’t be sad…that the wonderful days are past, instead be happy that they were there for your pleasure”
You are leaving a beautiful part of the country, but interning another just as pretty. Take care.
Beautiful mosaic… I love stacked (balanced) rocks.

Love the shades of blue in these pictures. Yes, the Ca. coast is beautiful. We have been out there twice.
I love Seattle, but I’d sure hate to leave this view behind. Happy Blue Monday.
Those blues are so lovely.
Have a wonderful week. I hope everything works just
right in your transition.

As usual, I love your ocean photos.. the one there of the waves and the rocks was just lovely. So calming. (and selfish me is hoping we’ll still get photos of the beach even if you’re not in California anymore. Washington is by the ocean too, right? ;))
Beautiful as always, Ellen. I’m praying with you during this last week of many good-byes.
That is so pretty blue water, amazing!

I’m going to miss your shots of the beautiful California beaches – I’ll have to get my fix at Willow’s π Enjoy your last week Ellen. I’m tempted to say “try not to overdo” but whoever listens? I know I don’t. You can rest up later π
I really like you mosaic. ~
Such pretty beach scenes! This is my first time to particpate in Blue Monday, and I’m enjoying all the posts. Yours is beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

Wow what beautiful pictures! Happy Blue Monday!
It’s still winter here in NC, but that little seagull sure makes me ache for summer evenings at Holden Beach…Happy Blue Monday!
Stunning! Pictures feel like a warm sunny day!
Beautiful! Just Beautiful. At least Seattle is a pretty destination, too.
Happy Blues~
Beautiful blue shots, I especially like the seagull on the rocks.
How lucky you are to get to spend time at the ocean. I’m sure you had a wonderful time.
Wonderful photos! You’re returning to Seattle? I lived on Whidbey Island in the 70’s… absolutely loved it. I love the west coast line — ocean…rocks…craggy outlets …. just love it. Thanks … Jenn <
Oh, it looks like such a wonderful place to explore! Thanks for sharing at MM. π
