Our DIL works with World Concern in the state of Washington and the World Concern Staff that are in Haiti are safe right now but they say the damage is horrific. This is such an impoverished area of the world…

We have good friends who lived there for a while working in an orphanage and they are making plans to go back in a few months…the reality before this earthquake is so horrible….can’t even imagine what this is doing. That country needs a MAJOR move of God to bring about change and hope.

Lord, i lift up to you haiti and their people affected by the earthquake. Lord, i pray for their safety and rebuilding of what was destroyed. Lord, i pray that you comfort their people. help them to recover from this devastation. Lord, have mercy. in Jesus’ mighty name, amen!

We just found out the news, this evening; We came home late and checked the news and was devastated by the images; Our prayers and hearts go out to the people of Haiti and prayers that our Father gives them strength, hope, encouragment and deliverance in this time of need.

Lovely verse and picture…..and it is so easy to see the pictures on the news and not really let the human suffering sink into our hearts.
My heart was broken when I heard of the news of Haiti. I will certainly be lifting that nation up in prayer.
I just had to think of all the orphanages in Haiti . .It is so sad. So many people who already have so little now will have nothing. I felt sick when I saw it on the news. Thank you Ellen.

Thinking of and praying for all those in Haiti. Love your beach picture here and the ones below! It has been great weather, but I hear we are in for a big, rainy storm next week. Glad we both got a chance to get out and beach it during the good stuff.
I totally agree about digital cameras too. Half my pictures and cruddy and if I had to pay to get them developed, I would never take any just in case. I am so glad we have digital now.
