Claudia at Dipity Road is starting a new meme for Friday called Finding Beauty. Click on over to check it out and join in if you’d like…
After I returned to the condo in Southern California from our home in Washington State I felt the need to hit the beach and catch some of the winter beauty here in Southern California. This was taken at Pt. Mugu on Wednesday of this week.
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Beautiful, Ellen — looking at the picture makes me forget the ice-box temperature we have had over here.
Have a great night!
Gorgeous…I’m trying imagine the warmth.
ooooooooooh you sweetest darling… I was just publishing this to see if its working …LOL
I dont know how to get the link on the front of my blog 😦

I will actually feel “it” this March when I leave for Fla. to visit some blogging girlfriends.. I can’t wait to feel that sun on my skin.
Happy FFB Ellen

So . .absolutely gorgeous. . .oh enjoy Ellen.
Oh that is such a pretty picture. The sky and the ocean look like the same color. laurie
That is a gorgeous view Ellen. It looks even more appealing tonight as the temperature is in the low teens here in NY!
Empty winter beaches are the best! ::Jill
Mmmmmm, that blue is beautiful.
Gorgeous! I love the tire tracks in the otherwise untouched sand. My photo is from CA, too. Wish I was there now and not here in the snow. brrr…
Hi Ellen…
Good Morning Sweetie. What a beautiful Friday photo. I so love the ocean. I can smell the salt air and I can hear the seagulls crying out. I can even feel the sand between my toes as I trace the tire tracks that have been left behind. How serene this picture is.
Thank you so much for sharing with me today. I was so excited when Claudia wanted to do this. I love photos from everywhere. Beauty truly is in the eyes of the beholder.
Have a beautiful Friday. Country hugs, Sherry
Have been here hundreds of times! Growing up in the 60s we had a trailer at Paradise Cove in Malibu and since my dad was in the SeaBees, we had an “in” to get down to the beach on good surfing days. Thanks for the memories today and yes, I see beauty in the beach all the time. Only I see it here in Florida now.
Hi Ellen – what a beautiful shot of the ocean. How wonderful to live as close to as you do. Have a beautiful day….Nancy
Due to our weather, this photo is just about the most beautiful sight I’ve seen today…wish I was there!!!
What a beautiful photo. I would love to be there at any time, but especially right now, we are in the middle of an arctic blast! I swear I feel warmer just looking at this.
The beach is one of the best parts of living in southern California. But I don’t get there often enough. Your photo is beautiful.
Gorgeous! And so different from our views in the Northeast. Nice to have an ‘ecuse’ to vist you more than once a week. ~Jeanne
How nice to see some beach and blue sky! You are so lucky! Hope you have a great weekend! Sherri : )
