Ruby in New Mexico…

It’s time to visit Mary at Work of the Poet for Ruby Tuesday. Thanks for being a great hostess Mary! Christmas time is great for finding ruby all over the place.

I took all these photos in New Mexico the weekend of Thanksgiving except for the kissing Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Those cuties are sitting on my kitchen counter. My oldest son and I were in the “Land of the Sun” for my middle son’s graduation and we didn’t have to wear sunglasses once. It even snowed on us!! I was real excited when I spotted that Christmas Hydrant. The signs just made me chuckle…

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. That theatre is stunning, that ruby marquee is art-deco style and beautiful. As you note, the Christmas colors on the fire hydrant are a treat. Mr. and Mrs. Claus have seen a lot, and he couldn’t do what he does without her support!

  2. Love this collage Ellen!
Even though each image is wonderful on its on merit.
The hydrant is perfect, I smiled at both signs, and love the old theatre marquee and the vintage kissing Mr. and Mrs. Santa would look just perfect on my table. 😉

  3. Cute collage. It must be the cold spell we’re having here in Oregonthat makes me love the curmudgeon-like “merry as we get” the most. that’s sort of how I felt today. I’ll get better though ;>) Thanks for sharing.

  4. isn’t that a coincidence……my panty hose say I’m a Queen too! course it’s hard for them to get the word out to everyone else….perpetually stuck in the very bottom of my underwear/sock drawer like they are…..maybe I should let them out once in awhile so they can tell everyone else I’m a Queen and then I can start getting my way in life….whaddaya think?

  5. What a wonderful mosaic…festive colors and unusual signs…love the queen/pantyhose one! I just looked at your previous post about the tea house in Washington…I’m not all that far…maybe hubby and I can take a little trip there and have tea!

I know global warming is a hoax, but I’m sure wondering about a global freezing! We actually had snow here yesterday, first time in about 12 years…I’m posting it for white wednedsay…it was glorious!!!

Hope you have a wonderful day!
    God bless!

    Mary
