It’s time to visit Mary at Work of the Poet for Ruby Tuesday.
All my Ruby sightings were at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, California. The Getty Museum sits on top of a hill overlooking the Los Angeles Basin and the Pacific Ocean.
In this shot my ruby is on the right. I’ll show close ups of these large bougainvillea plants.
I think it’s really cool how they are shaping these plants.

This Pomegranate tree was growing in the sunken garden area. I’ll leave you with a couple shots of Ruby from inside the Museum.

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

That is so cool how they are shaping those plants…and I’m curious what the well trimmed hedge bushes are? Wondering if the whole thing will turn red….very cool garden area.

We don’t necessarily get the artist and his intent in a vacuum – you need to go to a museum first. And this is a gem! The skyline below qualifies as artistic. The maze of shrub is wonderful, nice rubies in the sunken garden and the interior art is stunning. A beautiful museum with wonderful art in a fantastic setting – a wonderful day!

Wow…..this is one amazing array of museum photos!!! They let you photograph indoors? Cool. So many places now a days won’t allow indoor photography.

Those are nice garden pictures and a pretty teaser of the inside. Were you supposed to take pictures inside? A lot people aren’t.
