Mosaic Blue Monday ~ Red,White & Blue!

I’m joining Sally’s Blue Monday a little late this week. Visit her to see more blue. I suspect you’ll see a lot of 4th of July blue this week.

And on a personal note. We arrived to our home in the Seattle area at about 10:15 last night. As usual it will take me a couple days to get my brain back. It’s hard sometimes switching from my Southern California Brain to my Washington State Brain. The trip took us 15 hours but listening to The Prisoner of Azkaban made the hours go by quicker. The book on cd was 11 hours long. I’ll be uploading photos from the wedding and other random shots soon.

Hope all is well with everyone…

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. I can’t believe I didn’t think of the 4th this week! How appropriate. I love the bear with the tie and the cake look delicious!

  2. I love your red, white and blues here. Awesome pictures and awesome mosaic. Love it!!

Kathy said she stayed in room 222. Just down the hall I guess from the room we stayed in while we were there. 232. What room did you end up in for your stay? I still find it amazing that you stayed at the same hotel we did!

Looking forward to pictures of the wedding. Glad you made to Seattle okay. That sure is a long drive.

  3. Nice photos. I want a piece of that yummy looking cheesecake. Well, your drive up was longer than our drive down but I do appreciate what you mean about readjusting after a trip.

  4. Enjoy your time in Seattle. And, if you’ve got the chance and feel like a little cinematic repose, catch this flick. I think you’ll like it: “Easy Virtue”.

  5. Ellen,

I am glad you made it safely to WA – sounds like a wonderful trip. We will be taking a trip later this week (I think). It will be around 20 hours. Can you believe I am going to brave it with a baby in tow?

Lovely mosaic — can’t wait to see more pictures!

  6. Ellen, that’s a long trip, and I’m glad you had something to help pass the time. Glad you made it safely. I wondered where you were last night, and I’m glad to see you posted today! πŸ™‚

Love all of your patriotic blues, and do I spy a little blue bear??? Mr. Magpie would love that.

    Happy Blue Monday to you!
