My Ruby Tuesday Photos are again from one of our neighborhood walks.
The plants in the top row are Coleus. I’m not sure what the rest of the plants are called. Happy Ruby Tuesday everyone (even though right now it’s Monday). Next week Maryt is challenging us to find a photo with just a little bit of red in it. Fun!

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I posted on my blog from 2007-2015 hostage and replaced them with big black and grey boxes with threats. So discouraging…as I’m slowly trying to clean up thousands of posts!
pretty pretty pretty
We call those plants at the top Coleus. They are beautiful. Mine sure have never looked anywhere near that lovely!
You certainly have a magnificent array of red in your neighborhood! Who cares what they are called, they are beautiful!

What a great collage for celebrating the colour RED. Happy Ruby Tuesday!
Great pictures from your neighborhood! So great!
My Ruby Tuesday photo is now posted, too! Hope you can hop by my entry if you have the time. Thanks!
What a collage of beautiful flowers. None of which would grow in my neighborhood.
I do enjoy this trip around the world of manifold and beauty.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi ellen,
Nice set of flower shots. The color really stands out.
This my take on the plant species:
Top Row: Coleus
Middle Row: Celosia
Bottom Row: The left and right pictures look like Oleander
Could the bottom middle be amaryllis?Beautiful shots.
I see some Coleus in the top row (the two-tone ones) don’t know about the rest.
Lots of lovely red, Ellen!
Very, very nice!!!
That’s a beautiful neighborhood. Red flowers just stand out so clearly, really to add some balance to the prevalent green in nature. Any of these shots would make a beautiful print to place on a boring white wall…
Excellent collection for Ruby Tuesday, Ellen. I have a whole bed of that coleus in my garden (the red-with-green-trim variety), and a hedge of oleander along one side of our property. I’ve seen celosia here and there, but I’ve never grown it. It really is pretty, so maybe I’ll try it.
Beautiful!

Oh those are lovely. Our summer is beginning to wane in the Pacific Northwest. Still have some warm days – but the nights and mornings are turning chilly. It won’t be too long before our colorful plants and flowers are gone for the winter…. I’ll need to come back and look at all your pretty pictures to get me through the gray months!
Happy Ruby Tuesday!
Gorgeous! how do you get all those pictures merged like that? I so need to learn how to do that.
I love all these ruby red neighborhood plants!
Beautiful! Everything looks so lush and healthy.
You make the prettiest collages! What a lovely collection of plant/flower photos.
Beautiful collage! I love that red coleus in the midddle of the top row – it justs pop out at you – gorgeous!
You must have a beautiful neighborhood.
I like coleus plants because they are easy to grow and maintain and they have such beautiful foliage.

Beautiful flowers and I love the way you’ve set up the collage. There’s something for the eye to be drawn to on all sides.
Great selection and a beautiful collage.
I’m back this morning for a request…a prayer request. You can find details on my Tuesday blog. Thanks and have a happy day today my friend.
[that 2nd on the top row almost looks so red and so much like a poinsettia! Gorgeous…all of them]
