I’m joining in with Smiling Sally’s new Monday Photo Challenge called Blue Monday. I love the color blue and thought it shouldn’t be difficult coming up with some blue to shoot and post on Mondays. If you want to join in click over here and see the guidelines.
One of the things I like to do besides blogging is to search for treasures at thrift stores. I always complain about the Goodwill’s in Southern California compared to Washington State but I finally found a goody.
This Blue Danube teapot cost me $7.95. Would anyone like a nice cup of Earl Grey?
Choose a cup and I’ll pour…

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I posted on my blog from 2007-2015 hostage and replaced them with big black and grey boxes with threats. So discouraging…as I’m slowly trying to clean up thousands of posts!
How beautiful!
That teapot was a steal!
I’ll take the cup in the front. Not only does it have scalloped edges around the saucer, but I do believe that it’s the largest!
MMM. Earl Grey; my favorite!
Love the way you photographed the teapot. You just keep getting better with your snaps!
I love the cup in front also. Beautiful !
thanks for stopping by today!
All so, ‘yummy’!
Oh, I love blue and white china! Was there a photo-challenge you’ve not joined π
Beautiful!! The Blue Danube pieces always bring a smile to my face — they remind me of the “old” European elegance!
Hi, This is really Willow on Flower’s computer. I’ll have a cuppa! Blue tea cup please. What a wonderful find that tea pot is. Oh my! Now I’ll have to rethink that maybe just maybe I should visit the thrift stores here.
Would love a cup! Great teapot – I can’t believe you actually found that in CA and not WA!
Lovely blue items. That teapot is really nice.
OMGosh…this is just beautiful. I can’t believe you found such a treasure for so little money. Lucky girl !!
love, bj
What a beautiful teapot. I looks like a treasure. Could I ask for coffee in my cup?
take care,
Dawn
I would love a splash of Licorice Tea from STACH, one of my favorites.
Along with Pink, blue is my other favorite color. All my walls in my living room, boys rooms and now our “guest cottage” is blue.
Have a great week and thank you for visiting my blue Monday.

Ellen, I have long been a fan of the Good Will stores, I used to visit two stores where I lived on a regular bases. I think your tea pot is wonderful. A real classic and a lucky find. Go Good will. Smile. Thanks for sharing your cups and saucers too. Lovely.
