When we were in downtown Seattle the week before last we walked past Truck Co. No. 1 and Water Tower No. 1 in Pioneer Square. A Ruby Tuesday moment for sure. Then I spotted these great ruby doors on the side entrance to the station.
For more Ruby Tuesday visit our Hostess Mary at The Work of the Poet.
Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site and have replaced my photos with black and grey boxes of ugliness. I’m slowly deleting those boxes from my blog and trying to update so many posts, very frustrating.
Now those are great shots for Ruby Tuesday! I enjoyed the Fireman theme.
Good photography
I know that fire trucks must look very visible, and that’s why most of them are red.
But most impressive because they are large, loud and really screaming RED! As a grownup, they are just as impressive to me as the were four decades ago as a kid.
The doors are great, side opening and RED. You chose well your rubies this week!
That’s a very long fire truck!
Mine’s HERE. Please stop by if you have the chance. Thanks!
Great photos! Look how shiny and clean that truck is, wow.
Sp pristine it must be a new truck that hasn’t been to many emergencies yet. 😉
You’re looking good here, Ellen. I have quite a few fire engine pictures, yours is a neat one with a back seat driver to help get around the corners. There was a comedy movie using that driver position commandeered by a non-fire fighter but I can’t remember who or what. Mrs. Jim can’t either. 🙂
..
My Ruby Red will be up before midnight our time. (just fyi)
..
Love the second one! Really nice shots:) I’ve got an entry too:D
Great pair of doors!
Happy Ruby Tuesday.
Happy Tuesday! What grand doors those are!
The shiny red fire truck!! 🙂 My son would love to have the toy version of that.
Those doors look pretty grand as well…
Happy Ruby Tuesday!!!
Long ladder truck! I’d have to take that shot too!
Love the doors.
Whoa, what a neat fire engine. Can’t get better than fire engine red for Ruby Tuesday. Nifty red doors, too.
Lovely and the truck is so bright and shiny! I like how people find red in so many different places. I shall have to look beyond nature and see what I can find too.
wow nice copmposition on the two gates.
Now that’s a LOT of ruby! I LOVE that truck! The doors are nice too – but i LOVE that truck!!!
Awesome shots for Ruby Red. Love the big, red doors.
Wow! Such a beautiful, long and slinky fire truck! Love the doors too! Happy Ruby Tuesday, ellen! Great job! 🙂
Love the fire truck its so long.
Oh those big red doors. I used to live very close to a fire station, and did a photographic shoot (college project) of a day in the life of a the firemen. It was great fun :O)
Two great shots. Is it my imagination or is that a REALLY big fire truck? It’s beautiful for sure. Love the doors too. Nice reflections in the windows.
Lovely urban pics! I really like the fire-engine.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fire truck that long! what a great shot.
the doors are wonderful too.
I always love seeing doors like that them seem cheery:)
Wow, Ellen… I am off the internet for a little less than 24 hours, and look at all the posts you have added! I am in for a treat! 🙂
Interesting looking doors. Are they still functional? They have an old look to them.
The firetruck is super, but I love the doors.
That is cool doors and what a great truck too!
I’ll join the chorus of “Nice truck!” “Nice doors!” You’ve done a fine job. So red!
