D IS FOR DRAGONFLY
I took this photo at the Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland, Washington. My post is short this week as I’m getting ready to head back to Southern California after being in Washington for almost 6 weeks. Have a great week everyone. Looking forward to all your D’s…

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site and have replaced my photos with black and grey boxes of ugliness. I’m slowly deleting those boxes from my blog and trying to update so many posts, very frustrating.
Not sure I’ve ever seen a dragonfly quite that colour
That’s certainly a brightly coloured dragonfly – good shot ..
Wow, lovely photo. I have one too, but it is NOT a good photo, yours is perfect.
Beautiful dragonfly! You’re so lucky to have caught its photo. Have a great week. Mine will be up later today.
Hello This D is a name ( in English I did not know…) I should not know before seeing your blog DRagonfly? Here (in Holland)the call this fly “Libelle” , thank for showing, happy ABC!

What a wonderful colorful dragonfly.
How much do you pay your models? This dragonfly opened its wings and stayed still long enough for you to photography it–you must be doing something! Share your secret and maybe I’ll start getting birds to cooperate with me.
That critter is quite artistic with that vivid design on his wings…
Nice capture…
Look at those wings, never seen a dragonfly like that, gorgeous!
Nice post!
Good travel back home!
Kisses from Nydia.
That is one jazzy dragonfly! Looks like she put on her best dress for you!
Yes, I noticed too that little coincidence with budgies. The wild ones are green & yellow, where as the ones kept as pets are all sorts of colours, from breeding techniques.
WOW!!! I love that picture! I tried to take a picture of one but it didn’t come out good. Yours is great! Dragonflies are cool!
Beautiful! Not quite the same as ours here in the east. Perfect D, Louise! And welcome back home.
Louise! What am I doing??? ELLEN, welcome home! So sorry, I do know my Louise’s from my Ellen’s! 🙂
I’m losing my mind – I’m old you know.

Great capture of the dragonfly – and great choice for “D” Wednesday!
Re the flight deck on the Hornet – as huge as it is, it is small when compared to a modern carrier!
Beautiful – I have many around our pond…so entertaining..I take alot of photos of them!
