ABC Wednesday ~ Dragonfly

D IS FOR DRAGONFLY

I took this photo at the Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland, Washington. My post is short this week as I’m getting ready to head back to Southern California after being in Washington for almost 6 weeks. Have a great week everyone. Looking forward to all your D’s…

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site and have replaced my photos with black and grey boxes of ugliness. I’m slowly deleting those boxes from my blog and trying to update so many posts, very frustrating.

  1. Beautiful dragonfly picture…there have been a few today, but they are all so special. Your blue dragonfly is incredible…I have never seen anything like it. Thank you!

  2. Never seen one with these colours. I never have any lucktrying to capture on camera any of these beauty’s.. you have caught this one just right..

  3. How much do you pay your models? This dragonfly opened its wings and stayed still long enough for you to photography it–you must be doing something! Share your secret and maybe I’ll start getting birds to cooperate with me.

  4. Yes, I noticed too that little coincidence with budgies. The wild ones are green & yellow, where as the ones kept as pets are all sorts of colours, from breeding techniques.
