Looking out past Juanita Bay across Lake Washington towards Seattle. This was taken on Wednesday July 30th on my morning walk.

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site and have replaced my photos with black and grey boxes of ugliness. I’m slowly deleting those boxes from my blog and trying to update so many posts, very frustrating.
This collage is from a few years after this post.

Beautiful and peaceful
Great capture! Were you in a boat when you took this?
Hope you can hop by my SWF photos in these blogs:

The clouds seem to almost touch the treetops, beautiful capture!
Ours is the same as it is every day – blue. Not ever a cloud….com’n from the desert ya know. *smackies*
OH, for some clouds and rain! Can you send it south?
Ellen, beautiful clouds. Just wondering, is that a lily pad pond?

Hi Ellen, those clouds are pretty low, and dark. I hope you were prepared for breezes and wet. But it is all very pretty.
I’m doing clouds seen from the sky today. Happy Skywatching. 🙂

Hi Ellen, thank you for your comment on my sky watch. You captured, nature at its best, sky and water and I am sure the waterlilies are a big bonus! Have a nice day.
The sky sure is big. Happy Friday!

Sorry about that … the link is to my mates blog about his Dog.. I did not mean to post it there..:O)
Tiny bit of blue behind the clouds over a carpet of waterlilies make this a interesting and very nice picture.
What a marvelously threatening sky … and lovely capture shooting across the lake. Seems like a beautiful place to walk ;–)
Hugs and blessings,
Beautiful picture! How neat that you came across this on your morning walk! Have a great weekend! I really enjoy reading and looking at your blog! It’s a wnner!!
I just love coming here. Your pictures are always so beautiful and dramatic. I love the angle from which this is taken. I feel like I’m right there.
Magnificent shot, Ellen. What a view **sigh**
Love your sky, but the real reason I came to visit was because I loved the comment you left on Brenda’s blog… something about you like to pretend you know everything. I recognized a kindred spirit! I like to pretend I know everything, too.
Cindra, It’s great to meet you :0)
That is so beautiful! It’s a lovely shot.
Amazing shot! Hope to see you there! Have a great weekend!

Nice shot across the lake to the sky.
A wonderful scene – fantastic shot!
It looks very beautiful and calm. It´s probably not good to have so much waterlilies there, although it looks good?
Beautiful. We used to live in Seattle and that makes me so nostalgic.
I used to walk on the other side of the lake – probably looking at you!
Lovely shot, I love the amount of green you squeezed into this shot, great capture. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! What a broody sky, Ellen!
WoW….Great shot!!!!
