Proverbs 22:6 ~ (NASB)

“Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site and have replaced my photos with black and grey boxes of ugliness. I’m slowly deleting those boxes from my blog and trying to update so many posts, very frustrating.

  1. Hehe what a fantastic picture & verse! It made me smile too! Thank you so much for your words of comfort & your prayers – I love my internet buddies! Happy WFW!

  2. Good morning Ellen,
This is such a darling picture. I love seeing old people still enjoying life and active. What is old? 80’s. Until then we’re still all young and yet old may be just a frame of mind. Of course the tent does wear out.
I hope you have a wonderfully blessed day.

  3. The perfect picture for this verse. I believe it is so true… we take into our old age what we learned and trusted and believed as a child.

    Happy WFW!

  4. Ellen,
What a great idea! Whenever I hear this, I always envision a child…how awesome to capture the latter part of the verse! Beautiful!
    Blessings,

  5. Hi Ellen,

Re: your Christmas this year — would you be at the Mother Ship for Thanksgiving? If so, maybe you could put a few things up? I totally understand what you said about things being weird with no Christmas things up. Or, better… maybe your kids could do it to surprise you! 🙂

Re: where to display my pillow — I don’t know yet, but it would have to be a place where it doesn’t get a lot of use because of the light fabric. I would cry if someone spills something on it. I have been working on the quilting part all day. It takes me about 3 hours to just quilt about 1/8 of the total size (16″ square)…
