Welcome to my 2nd Pink Saturday!
I’ve posted this before on my blog but not for Pink Saturday. These are some of my Royal Albert China pieces in the Moss Rose Pattern. Over the years I’ve gathered pink accessories to go with these dishes. I really do like the pink and green combination.
I began my set of Moss Rose by buying a Tea Service while touring England in the summer of 1973 with a Christian Rock Band. After I was married in 1974 my husband and I were on a cross country road trip and we made a special trip into Canada from Detroit to but dinner service for 12 in this same pattern. The pattern was not available in the U.S.A. I love this set but prefer to use plain white china for most gatherings these days except for when I get inspired to set a pretty tea table.
I’m including this collage of a bush in my yard that a hummingbird was enjoying that happens to have PINK blossoms on it…
Have a wonderful Pink Saturday everyone and thank you to our kind hostess Beverly at How Sweet the Sound. To see more Pink today just click on the link.
Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site and have replaced my photos with black and grey boxes of ugliness. I’m slowly deleting those boxes from my blog and trying to update so many posts, very frustrating.
Good morning, Ellen! What beautiful pinks you have. I love your Moss Rose china. I am started to be attracted to plain white china too (maybe I am getting older, hehe), but I haven’t settled on any particular pattern yet. I have a small antique set of Johnson Brothers Heritage White, and I had actually served it twice last week – an abnormal thing for me to do because husband ended up asking me why I was using the whites so much, hahaha!
Have a great weekend – are you seeing your husband?
Happy Pink Saturday, Ellen!
I love your china, it is beautiful. I have a pattern with pink roses which belonged to my mother. And, I love using it with green, too.
Hummingbirds are very smart to love pink. š
Your china is so beautiful!!!!! I love the way you made the collage of pictures. It is very pretty. The flowers are pretty as well. I love pink flowers!

Such pretty china..isn’t it fun to have a collection to add to. I’m amazed you got that hummingbird to hold still for you. Great photos.
Hurray for pink! I love the pink and green combo too… That’s what we did Sarah’s nursery in… Fun table setting… I’d love to go to tea with you sometime when you get the gang together! It’s been WAY too long since I’ve seen you and Josh and Laura… IF only a two year old could have control in a delicate environment… sigh…. š
It’s always fun to see your beautiful china and tea table arrangements. Pink and green DO make a wonderful combination.
Simply gorgeous china. I would have to use it EVERY DAY, if only for a cup of tea and a sweet. So delicate and beautiful. Thanks for sharing. That opening collage made me salivate — I love pink china! Thanks for popping in to see my picnic.

Hi, Ellen! I sooo adore your tea set collection and that cute hummingbird is just having a great time with your pink blooms.
Oh I love all the PINK! It is afterall my favorite color. I am sad to say that I don’t only work one Saturday a month, but four days a week plus one Saturday a month and when we have events that Saturday too! Did you notice I have green walls at work too! Green and pink…no other color exists.
What Christian Rock band did you tour with? I’d love to know.
Have a fun rest of the day.
Oh, my favorite…Old Country Roses!! Beautiful!!!
Thanks for the visit today…and for the comments about PINK!!

Your set of Moss Rose china is just beautiful. I, also, prefer simple disigns these days in dishes when setting a table, but it is so great to know you have that wonderful pattern when you want to pull out all of the stops.
