WFW ~ Proverbs 27:14

I love this little water color sketch I bought for my daughter years ago from Goodwill with this verse on it. We still get a big kick out of it. Kindness can be shown in very creative ways like understanding the difference between “morning people” and “night people”.

Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage. They have blacked out all those photos on my blog posts. OH BOTHER! Iā€™m slowly cleaning up my posts.

  1. I love that! And so true….many of us aren’t ready to be greeted pleasantly, loudly or cheerfully before our morning coffee! I wonder what the ancient Israelis drank first thing in the morning…what was their “morning coffee”?

  2. I just love this…I have seen many of these watercolors and have always just loved how something so simple has such a message. (and those birds are so cute!)

    Thanks for sharing :o)

  3. So true and so cute. It makes me think of my Pawpaw who is in glory now. Whenever our family would visit, Pawpaw was always the first to wake up in the morning…if he was awake, everyone was awake, whether we wanted to be or not. Fun memories, thanks for the blessing today.

  4. I love that verse, when I used to work the night shift and had a family member who couldn’t understand why I was still sleeping 2 hours after I got off work at 10am I always thought of this verse. I love the picture! Goodwill always has great finds.

  5. Ellen,

So true. I remember when I was younger I was not a morning person at all. I’ve changed somewhat as I’ve gotten older.

    Love the photo/verse!

    Blessings!

  6. Cute painting. I don’t recall seeing that citation before. Here’s the KJV:

He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.

  7. LOL I wish I had this picture! I live with my sister who is a morning person and I am a night owl. In the morning she is ready to talk up a storm and I just want to be quiet for awhile. Sometimes I tell her just the sound of her voice bugs me. LOL

    Hugs,
    Joanne
