Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage. They have blacked out all those photos on my blog posts. OH BOTHER! I’m slowly cleaning up my posts.

I think this is one very chubby Woodpecker.
Marvelous shot, ellen! He sits at a strange angle! Ha! 🙂
What kinda bird is he?!
I know this sounds weird, but this took the air out of me and brought a tear to my eye. Isn’t it neat when you find something appealing and others do as well? I just miss CA so much I can’t breathe in the dessert anymore. Thx so much for posting this.
great catch for WW! mine’s up too hope you can drop by.
nice one! Hppy WW! Hope to see you too at my corner.
I think he has to get a little closer if he wants a piece of that tree!
Ellen, this is a stunner. God bless.
Great photo. I found myself focusing on the structures and stones first, and then read the comment about the woodpecker, and took a moment to look at him, too 🙂
Nice catch!! It is an Acorn Woodpecker by the way.
I think this little fellow is doing his sit-ups. Got to be strong to hold on to the wormy poles and trees he might find when he grows to be on his own.
🙂
Happy WW!
..
What a great shot, Ellen! Woodpeckers are fascinating creatures!
Wow that’s a beautiful shot. Happy WW!

I wonder what he is looking at? I hope whatever it is is of this world!
Beautiful shot of the bird 🙂
Oh, wow. What a great shot! Excellent sense of opportunity.
Here is my post for today. Happy WW day!
What a beautiful bird….Happy WW:)
That’s a wonderful shot. I always love to come to your blog. Your photographs and posts are always so enjoyable.
What a wonderful photo! You’re right … that IS one ‘chubby woodpecker’ … and a marvelous old tree in this beautiful cemetery. Thanks for sharing. Mine’s up at Small Reflections ;–)
Hugs and blessings,
I really like that shot! Nice!
He is beautiful, but I do hope he’s not that crazy woodpecker where I use to live that pecked all morning long on the metal electric pole!
I’d say that woodpecker has his eye on that tree — sizing it up!
