I Corinthians 12:31b, 13:1, 13:4, 13:7 ~
“And now I will show you the most excellent way. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.”
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
“It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
Colossians 3:12 ~
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage. They have blacked out all those photos on my blog posts. OH BOTHER! I’m slowly cleaning up my posts.
What a great sculpture and great combination with these verses!
I absolutely love the beautiful photos that you always share! How fitting!
This photo really fits the verses you chose! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Wednesday!
Thanks for sharing the picture and the verses – especially Colossians 3:12 where it uses “clothe”. It implies an active verb, something we consciously do like we consciously decide what to wear for the day.
Great words we need to hear and do. Thanks, Ellen.
A really lovely combination. Blessings.
I just love the photo and the verse. Perfect!
Very creative! Looking at this statue, I’m not sure I would have thought of that scripture first; but now that you have done it, its perfect!
I love that statue – it’s one I haven’t saw before!
Hi! I love your post today!

I love the pictures that you share on WFW and am always amazed at how well they bring the verse to life! Truly love is something we all need to be mindful of and to share!
What a great sculpture! Such a perfect illustration of that verse. The choice is especially appropriate with Father’s Day coming up this weekend. ; ) Thank you for this beautiful reminder.
Blessings,
Tracy
That sculpture really does picture that love called “charity” or agape in scripture. Getting down on your knees to show kindness and patience to a child!
happy WFW to you
