ABC Wednesday ~ U is for

U is for Underwood Family Farms, U-pick Blueberries, Uitility Poles, and the U.S. Post Office

I sure wish there was someone with me when I was taking this shot so I could have a face to go with one of these animals.

The Underwood Farms sell fresh fruit, produce and flowers at this roadside stand. They are also known for their U-pick Blueberries.

While at the Underwood Stand I looked down the road and noticed all these Utility Poles.

On the way home I passed this U.S. Post Office. All they seem to want to send me these days is lots of USELESS mail and very few meaningful pieces of mail.

For more ABC’s head over to Mrs. Nesbitt.

Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage. They have blacked out all those photos on my blog posts. OH BOTHER! I’m slowly cleaning up my posts.

  1. I hate Utility Poles. I really hated them back in the days of film. Now I have Photoshop if I don’t like a powerline.

I think I will go have blueberries and cream now, thanks for the idea.

    Nice collection of “U’s”.

    U is Under scrutiny.
    Come visit,
    Troy and Martha

  2. Oh I just love those family farms. Can hardly wait for them to open up here. Good photos for today’s U day! Come on over to see where I take you today. ;D

  3. Post offices are under threat here, especially rural ones.
Such a great shame, destroying community spirit!

Agree with your first comment re wish you had somebody to photograph a particular scene!….which animal???

    LOL!

  4. Love that sign! They don’t have a dragon, so I think I’d be a cow. Or maybe a goat. Or . . . .

Utility poles can be a real menace to the photographer. The only real answer is to make them into a feature, and you’ve done that really well. I like the lines and the perspective.

  5. I rarely get meaningful mail, I only get wasted paper. I love picking blueberries. My grandma had a couple bushes of them in her backyard, but they have since stopped producing berries 😦 Great choices, good job 🙂
