What to do with shoes on the beach~
Hold them
Put them on a rock

Oh, such wonderful shots and a handsome couple!! how lovely to be barefoot at the beach. I can’t, due to an old injury and I have to wear shoes, at least on my left foot to keep it somewhat straight 😦

Me again – well I should have gone with my first guess – Ventura!! I haven’t been there for ever – so it was a good guess – I went there a lot in my teen years – beautiful!!!

Hi from WA! 🙂 Gorgeous photos of your family. I love the beach too and pretty blue skies. It’s been gloomy all week here in WA.
That’s a lovely collage and great take on the “shoes” theme.
But, but, when the sand is hot, you have to have on some kind of shoes, at least, until you can get down to the cool, cool water! Wonderful photos! I wanna’ go to the beach!!
Well barefoot is my favourite thing anyway and at the beach it’s great to have the sand in between your toes, then rinsed off in the surf.
Hahaha… Ellen, sometimes it’s a bit hard for me to keep track of all the posts you post… I came back again tonight to see if you had posted anything new, and noticed that I hadn’t read the “shoes” post… What a fun post this was. I enjoyed the light-heartedness in it.
By the way, I just checked out Beatrix Potter’s biography from the library yesterday, and started the first few pages… so far so good! I am inspired to take some painting lessons in the near future.

What a cute couple! I use to love the beach when I was young. Our house was actually across the street from it in a suburb of Boston. Now it’s too much trouble. Too long a drive, too few parking spots, too crowded, too many “No this and that” allowed….

I so relate to this because that’s exactly what I do at the beach. When I take Molly to Dog Beach I wear a backpack to put shoes in along with dog toys and water ;–)
