These twisted Ivy trunks are in front of our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Camarillo, California. (El Tecolote)
We spotted this twisted trunk on our hike in Sycamore Canyon this last weekend.

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage and they have blacked them all out. I’m slowly working at restoring my posts without their help. Such a tiresome bother!
Ellen, those twisted trunks of the trees are beautiful. Lovely to see naturally twisted stuffs in our lives π
Have a bless weekend!
Those are great shots and the first one shows just how strong ivy can become. Good take on the theme. Hope you have a happy weekend.

Those twisted trunks are beautiful, must have taken years to reach that size.
Great shots Ellen. I do love the ivy trunks. What a wonderful way to welcome people! Happy weekend
Wow. Those twisted trunks are really nice to see. I think Nature does a fantastic job making things work in spite of our best efforts. There is no room for the roots or for fresh air or water or bugs. Just flagstones and in spite of that the trees are growing. It is a nice photograph.
How marvelous! A graceful twist, indeed!
Nature twisted beauty!!! Nice shots…
Pearl – have a good weekend

Isn’t that weird how they grow like that? It reminds me of my spine right now. I tried a new exercise last night and am PAYING FOR IT today.
