Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong,
They are weak but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.
Jesus loves me! He who died,
Heaven’s gate to open wide;
He will wash away my sin,
Let His little child come in.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.
Jesus loves me! loves me still,
When I’m very weak and ill;
From His shining throne on high,
Comes to watch me where I lie.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.
Jesus loves me! He will stay,
Close beside me all the way;
He’s prepared a home for me,
And some day His face I’ll see.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.

This is such a special post.
This brought a smile to my face.
I remember Jacob, my middle son, singing this in his deep, husky toddler voice:
“Deeduh yub me dis I no
por de Bibo dell me yo.
Yittle one a him a yong
Dey are weak a he a trong.
Yet, Deduh yub me
Yet, Deduh yub me
Yet, Deduh yub me
De Bibo dell me yo.”
I’ve loved and sung this since I was a very little girl. Thanks for posting it; I’m sure it will bring back memories for many of us!
I love that song! I sang that to my girls to rock them to sleep when they were babies!
Very cute. I love how the little boy’s pajamas are sliding down in the back.
Cute pics
I love the story behind the writing of this song!
Thank you Jesus!
