Today I am reminded of God’s response to our repentance and for this I am so thankful…
Lamentations 3: 22-23 ~ “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Micah 7: 18-19 ~ “Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry long but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 ~ “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
I John 1:9 ~ “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
I am also thankful to be in my home in Washington for a month to spend some extended time with my children and to get things ready for our Christmas celebrations. I love this time of year. Blessings on all of you.

yesterday at Wight’s there were two cute old ladies speaking in what I assume is Russian. I could tell they were talking about Finn’s hair because they pointed to him and used the word Chewpchik!

Funny…I have been thinking a lot about repentance recently as well. Thank you for sharing – what a reminder of our need to be real, raw and honest before the Lord all day – every day!
