Thanksgiving Rhyme ~

Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving
The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest all is gathered in
And chilly north winds blow.
Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway~
Thanksgiving comes again!
~Old Rhyme

I’m so looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. Dear and I will be traveling to Seattle a week from today to celebrate there with our children and close friends. I’m really thankful for this. Blessings on all your plans.

  1. Hi Ellen, thanks so much for your kind words on my blog today. I liked your rhyme a lot (and I loved the picture! what a beautiful tree!). I hope that your travels go very smoothly, and your holiday is great. It is so nice to appreciate Thanksgiving and not look past it to Christmas, as the world seems to do so much. Take care!

  2. Hi Ellen, Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday and taking the time to leave a comment. It looks like you and your family have big plans for Thanksgiving next week. I hope you have safe travels and a great time sharing love and laughter! Enjoy!
