There’s Just Something About That Name
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus;
There’s just something about that name!
Master, Savior, Jesus,
Like the fragrance after the rain;
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
Let all heaven and earth proclaim;
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away,
But there’s something about that name!
Philippians 2: 8-11 ~ “And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Goosebumps. I love that song and the verse. Blessings on you this morning Ellen. I love your picture too. I woke up this morning intending to capture our sunrise but the clouds just closed the gap. I just missed it. I’m glad I saw yours.
Beautiful song. I remember singing it when I was first saved but haven’t heard it in a while. Thank you for bringing it back to mind. The sweet, mighty name of Jesus.
Ellen, I’m enjoying your blog — as usual. Our family is very partial to the Gaither’s — beautiful song. My favorite gospel group is the Gaither Gospel Band — yup, the volume goes to ‘high’ when they are singing at my house!!! I hope you have a blessed day!
I took the ‘blog reading level’ test and started to laugh when the results popped up for mine. It took them about ‘two seconds’ to determine this — how accurate can that be? But for fun, I put my results up (for now at least). I personally don’t think the results they gave you are accurate either — what do you think? Anyway, it was a fun thing to do. I noticed in the html code that they have us ‘post’ that they have attached something that is probably spam. It’s got to do with loans and money and it’s the last two or three lines of the code. I deleted it before I posted and the box still came up okay. So you aren’t spammed, you might want to check it out. It might make no difference at all, though. I just thought that maybe they had elementary reading level skills and were trying to hood-wink us!
Well, I think I better stop writing before I wax waaaaaaay too eloquent! LOL! Have a lovely day and I’ll be back again soon.

PS: I love the overnight casserole recipes. Thank you! My friend is opening a B & B and looking for ideas. I hope you don’t mind if I share.
That is beautiful. I love the picture. Thanks so much.
