In my Friday Bible Study we have memory verses each week. Boy the old brain ain’t what it used to be! My verses for this week are these that you are probably familiar with…
Philippians 4: 6,7 (ESV)
“…do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Don’t be anxious about anything…
Pray about everything…
The peace of God surpasses all understanding…
The peace of God will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus…
This is one of my favorite verses. I’m a worrier by nature and a truster through Christ Jesus my Lord.
Just wanted to make sure you saw this:
Add Kahlua to your Brie and pecans appetizer! It’s DELICIOUS!
Thanks for the well wishes for our little boy 😉
This is one of those verses that repeats in my mind in this condensed form. ” Don’t worry about anything, Pray about everything” But I love the richness of reading it completly from the Word.
Ellen, I love those verses! (my brain is so not—and I told my sweet man tonight—-I think my “hearing” is going too—eh?? what did you say???)
Ellen, I’ll join you in memorizing this one this week–a much needed strengthening. Blessings.
Wow! Great blog. This is my first time here. I will be back!
