Give thanks to the Lord for he is good; his love endures forever.
Here are some of my Thanksgiving Tables over the last few years.
2010
Thanks to God for my Redeemer,
Thanks for all Thou dost provide!
Thanks for times now but a memory,
Thanks for Jesus by my side!
2011
Thanks for pleasant, balmy springtime,
Thanks for dark and stormy fall!
Thanks for tears by now forgotten,
Thanks for peace within my soul!
2012
Thanks for prayers that Thou hast answered,
Thanks for what Thou dost deny!
Thanks for storms that I have weathered,
Thanks for all Thou dost supply!
2013
Thanks for pain, and thanks for pleasure,
Thanks for comfort in despair!
Thanks for grace that none can measure,
Thanks for love beyond compare!
Thanks for roses by the wayside,
Thanks for thorns their stems contain!
Thanks for home and thanks for fireside,
Thanks for hope, that sweet refrain!
2014
Thanks for joy and thanks for sorrow,
Thanks for heav’nly peace with Thee!
Thanks for hope in the tomorrow,
Thanks through all eternity!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the United States!
Hello Ellen, I wish you and yours a happy and peaceful Thanksgiving,
I love your table settings just perfect, your artistic streak shines
through.
Over here in the UK we are praying for peace and unity and particularly for
all those poor souls who perished and were injured at the hands of the
crazed terrorists in Paris.
God bless America.

Beautiful tables! And thanks for sharing the Thanksgiving poem – it pretty much covers everything!
Thanks for the words you shared. I’m a little sad today and need to be reminded that sorrow is also something for which to be thankful.
So sorry for your sadness today Lulu…
All these tables are lovely! What a great family photo! Now that’s a blessing!
This poem is so good and true: we must thank for the good things and also for the difficult things, because we can only grow up when we are able to handle the problems we meet on our way.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Wil,ABCW Team.

Beautiful table settings and a song I remember well from my youthful days. Gratitude never goes out of style! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Ellen.
And a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Ellen! I will imagine you sitting around your beautiful table…
Nice seasonal tables. There’s only my wife and me, so we don’t get too fancy. In fact, we usually travel at that time of year and eating out is easier.
Beautiful tables!! Happy Thanksgiving!
Beautiful tablescapes Ellen!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving dear friend!
Love the tables! Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
Gorgeous table setting! Happy Thanksgiving!
How fun to see your settings through the years. May your gathering be just as beautiful this year.
Your tables are always lovely, Ellen! I like the green goblets! I wish you a warm and wonderful feast and a day of loved ones galore!
Wishing you a VERY blessed Thanksgiving Ellen! That first photo reminds me of my mom’s Friendly Village dinnerware set (Johnson Brothers)–and that makes me think of snow and that always makes me very, very happy:)
Blessings,
Aimee
