What a touching post, Ellen. I especially appreciated seeing the Vietnam Memorial in California picture. I lost someone very dear to me in that war.
The memorials are so well done that for a moment, the statues appear to be real people. I know they represent real people, but I’m talking about the statues themselves – for just a brief second appear to be real – especially those in the Korean memorial.
