For April I’m challenging myself to an A-Z photo a day excluding Sundays and in addition to any regular posts that come to be. Disclaimer: this has been a lot more than a photo a day. It has been more like a theme for the day.
Today is Tuesday April 29th and we are on the letter Y.
Y is for youth, the young.

Our grands co-op school year came to an end with a field day last Thursday in a local park.

The Awana year is coming to an end, too.

This coming Wednesday is the last evening of Awana until September. Addy and JJ earned many points that turned into Awana cash that they could use to buy stuff at the Awana store. They chose lots of fun treasures.
It is great to be young and enjoy all the things that youthfulness affords. It is also nice to be young at heart without denying your actual age and experience.

Yesterday I watched these Young-uns for a few hours. That gives me a proper appreciation of our age and physical differences. Thankfully they yield to my commands and limitations.
I definitely want to be young at heart! These are cute pictures of your “young” ones!
…ah, to be YOUNG again!
It is wonderful to see your grandchildren outside involved with these events.
Take care, have a great day!
Congrats to your youth for the completion of another successful homeschool year! Field Day is a fun finale! How wonderful that they have hidden more of God’s Word in their hearts through Awana this year!
Youth…being young…your grandchildren are perfect examples of the enthusiasm for life that exudes from being young! xx
The youth have so much energy!! 🙂
Our church as Master Club which is like Awana.
A great “Y” subject! I hear you loud and clear on the “proper appreciation of our age” when watching those young energetic ones! My turn comes on Friday – all day – eek!
It’s such a joy to have young people in our lives. They have lots of energy and keep us young at heart!
