A month to climb and hide in trees.

A month where birds return and greet the morning with song.

A month to wrap up homeschool projects.

A month to try new things…

Sweet Tamarind was a thumbs up. Don’t swallow the seeds.

Red cactus pear was a thumbs down.

Trees are blossoming at Josh and Laura’s.
We are still waiting here on the northeastern edge of Washington State to see blossoms and blooms. The daffodils are just shooting up out of the ground. No yellow blooms quite yet.
What’s blooming in your neck of the woods?
Great photos!! Everything is blooming here – azaleas, new little leaves on all of the trees, Bradford pear trees, along with other ornamental trees!
Cute photos of your grands! I love the pretty blooming tree.
Goodbye March and Hello April.
Take care, have a happy day and a great week ahead!
…I wish you an Awesome April.
Such happy and fun pictures. Laura and Josh’s blooms are fantastic. Not much blooming over here yet either. The lenten rose is trying but is so squished down from all the snow we had. Have a great week Ellen.
Love the red wing blackbird! My husband likes cactus pears as they grew wild where he grew up in Italy, and he ate many, I feel the same as your grands–thumbs down for me, as they are too seedy! I never tried Tamarind–it looks mysterious 🙂
There are lots of blooms here, but spring is still acting very “early” and blustery. I love that pic of the gorgeous magnolia flowers, as I think they are…?
Great work by JJ and Addy on the report on Paraguay! I love waking up in the mornings to the birds singing. For the very first time, we’ve recently seen Red Wing Blackbirds at our bird feeder. And we recently had our first experience with Tamarinds. I wasn’t a fan, but hubby was.
I love hearing the birds chirping away as I walk in the morning.
Not much blooming around here yet but there are a lot of daffodils.
I always love the glimpses of your grands’ homeschooling! It is such a wonderful way of life! Our daffodils have bloomed and are just beginning to wane . . . I’m sorry to see them go. But now the cherry trees are in bloom and the quince bush and the Bradford pears. So exciting to watch Spring arrive! Hope yours arrives soon!
Love seeing the different feathered friends you’ve got in your neck o’ the woods.
It looks like a wonderful month! Loved every photo, especially of your grands. Happy 1st day of April!
Sweet post.
I have never heard of or seen Sweet Tamarind.
