It was that apple time of year again and we headed out to Marcus on Saturday to enjoy the small town Ciderfest.
The kids had Jamie’s Thunderbird on display again.
We had another glorious sunny albeit chilly start to the fest.

The Grands enjoyed playing checkers before the parade began and while many folk came around to look at the Thunderbird.

Hi Baba!

Time for the parade!

Here comes Granny Great and Jim. Granny Great threw out a lot of candy for her great grands!
After the parade we stood in line for our caramel apples and a half-gallon of fresh apple cider and headed home.
The views of the Columbia were glorious again this year.
Hope you all have a good new week!

It’s good that you are back home now. Seeing the grandchildren was a precious moment I’m sure.
I’m sure it was a precious time when you saw your grandchildren again after getting back home.

It has still been so hot here in Alabama. We are wearing shorts and sandals. I actually had to pause a moment when I saw that it was cold enough for your kids to have on jackets and gloves!! I think it would be so much fun to go to an apple festival.
You always have such a busy albeit fun schedule! 🙂 I love seeing everywhere you go! thanks for sharing. brrr, does look cool though.
Sounds like such a lovely day, Ellen! I love a fall festival that is not centered around Halloween. I suddenly want a caramel apple . . . 😊
…so much eye candy.
Love your photos from the festival and that last photo is gorgeous!!
Looks like a fun time and it looks like the kids were having a lot of fun.
That sounds like a fun day for all the family. I would love to see all those cars and taste the cider. B x
Oh so lovely there in Autumn and a perfect festival for the family and the season and I wish I had a caramel apple right now (though my teeth wouldn’t thank me). … I thought we’d visited most towns in Washington State over all the years we lived and traveled in the PNW, but I don’t know Marcus. And we obviously missed something good. Sallie
Looks like the perfect day! Autumn is beautiful in your area.
