In Like a Cat?

We’ve had some varied Winter weather here the last few days. Thursday and Friday the skies were blue with pretty white clouds and very cold. This is the view we have as we get close to the highway traveling from our home.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. Psalm 19:1-2
Grateful for our views where God has planted us for this season of our lives. Thank you, LORD.

March has not come in like a Lion and I hope it still will go out like a lamb.

This photo is looking back driving towards our home from the highway.

Saturday we had a change in the weather and got some wet snow that started to stick for a while.

It all melted off the plants and posts and bird houses by Saturday evening.

I might have spoken too soon about March coming in like a cat instead of a lion because this morning we woke up to another 3 inches of fluffy snow! And now we have 5 inches!

We have some busier days ahead in March, especially with Easter landing on the very last day of March this year.

How does March look for you?

  1. Hello,

It is the same here March came in like a cat. I am happy with our warmer weather.

Pretty landscapes! Take care, enjoy your day and have a great week ahead.

  2. Our weather is playing cat and mouse. Snow, tornado, rain, sun, all in one week.

March is our birthday month. We are hoping to get in a quick trip to a warm beach and of course I will be starting my garden plants.

  3. Well, my friend, you are certainly blessed with those beautiful views all around you. Our March so far has contained HARD rains, WILD winds, and today we have sunshine! It definitely came in as a lion here.

  4. It looks beautiful! We expect this storm to come our way by the end of the week. It does not bother me as I’d rather see snow then dry hot conditions which lead to red flag wildfire danger warnings.

  5. That snow on that early March date looks close enough to “come in like a lion” to me. And it definitely should ensure ‘going out like a lamb’ ! Easter really is early this year!!

  6. Crazy weather here too. We had wind, rain, and today it was sunny in the 60’s. Makes us believe the lie that winter is over. 🙂
