I finished this latest puzzle just in the nick of time before we needed the dining table for our dinner last Friday night. This was a fun puzzle to do. Garden scenes for each month of the year. There was enough variation in the patterns that it was easy to find where the pieces would fit.
We finally got some dry hours with sunshine breaking through on Wednesday the 7th and the grands enjoyed traipsing around their yard!
It made them giddy. Sunshine can do that to a person.

…that puzzle is amazing, but what is really amazing is how big those two have gotten.
They really grow fast…
Hi Ellen,
Wow, you find the most marvelous puzzles to work!! This one is really pretty! Sunshine is good medicine, yes? The grands are mighty cute! 😀 😀
I think your weather has reached us now, because our sunshine is all gone today. We’re supposed to get rain through Monday. Yuck. All rain, no snow this winter for us.
Have a great weekend, Ellen!
Warm hugs,
Denise
Yes, Denise, the sunshine is a spirit booster. We got a good dose today.
just love that puzzle. I can imagine your giddy grands. Sunshine here too today 😻
Happy for you on the island with sunshine. We had a good full day of sunshine here, too!
Yes, my friend, sunshine can make us giddy! We’ve enjoyed some giddiness around here this week, too!
And my congratulations to you on completeing that puzzle. I’m glad that you said that there was enough variations in patterns that it made it easier to put together. It looks hard to me…but then you are hearing this from someone who in sheer bordeom last Saturday took out a 1,000 piece puzzle, sorted out all of the pieces, put the border together and before three days had gone by and little activity taking place with it (I’ve been sick) I also took it apart and put it all back in the box. :-) I’m sure we will have more snow days (weeks) before winter is through with us and perhaps we will try again then. It’s a beautiful puzzle…Evening in Paris by Peter Pauper Press.
Dianna, I’m sorry to hear you’ve been sick. Next time if you give up on a puzzle put all the edges you found already in a separate baggy so you get a good head start on tackling it again. 🙂
Thanks for the tip, my friend. I wish I had thought of that before I put the puzzle away. 🙂
The puzzle is amazing!
That looks like a hard puzzle!!
Yes, sunshine makes me happy!! 🙂
Indeed, sunshine can do that to a person! Ask me how I know! We’ve had several beautiful, sunny days this week after so. many. gray. days. The sunshine is a welcome sight! I’m sure your grands were delighted to get outside and enjoy it!
That looks like a fun puzzle to do. Glad you were able to finish it before company came!
Glad you could be encouraged by sunshine, Cheryl. We had a full day of sunshine today! Woohoo!
It’s a great puzzle, but wasn’t it kind of stressful to be under a deadline to finish it — did you actually have to break it up (sob). But at least you have a lovely photo memory…. I’m sure I’d feel just like your grandkids on that first sunny day after the winter you’ve had. And their smiles are a good reminder for me not to take sunny days for granted!
That is one amazing and challenging puzzle, and those grandchildren are busy ones!
