Thursday March 17
On Thursdays my posts will include verses that stood out in my readings from the Bible during the week. One, two, three or maybe more. If you have a verse/verses that you read during the week and would like share, leave it/them in the comments and I will add it/them to the post. Let’s dig deep in God’s Truth this year!
Colossians 3:16-17
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
From Cathy:
Deuteronomy 5:10 NLT
“But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.”
From Vera:
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
…always be a truth seeker!
That’s a great verse and reminder to always be thankful. Here’s a verse that I read this morning that I like.
Deuteronomy 8:10 NLT “But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.” Pretty cool to think when we love and obey God it can affect a thousand generations after us.
Cathy, that really is an amazing thought. Thanks for sharing this verse.
