Our little town of Colville set up this memorial for the 13 military service members who were killed in Afghanistan in late August. Our flags also flew at half-staff.
Praying that Americans left behind will be able to make it back home soon.
I’m preparing a post for the 20th Anniversary of 9-11 which is tomorrow. Have a good weekend everyone.
Hello,
Wonderful memorial. I heard another 200 Americans left yesterday on a plane. I am wondering why they stayed so long when the country was known to be so horrible. Why not leave earlier, years ago? Have a great day and happy weekend!
I don’t have words.
Thank you for the memorial.
What a thoughtful thing for your community to do. I look forward to your post tomorrow. I that it will be tender.
Very thoughtful. Meanwhile, in Riverside, flags to honor those 13 fallen were vandalized 😦
A beautiful memorial.
