Clematis Joy!

Hope you all have a good Father’s Day weekend.

I’ll be away from my computer for the next couple of days. Tomorrow is Tea Day here at our Country Bungalow and there will be eight of us around the table. I’m handing over my kitchen to the gal who offered up the tea at our Mission’s Auction. She has a helper coming along, too.  I’ll share lots of photos as soon as I can.

With our son flying in for the weekend and the Tea and Father’s Day things will be busy around here.

I’ve gotten all my dates for my Cataract surgeries so the next 5 weeks will be hit and miss for my computer time. My first surgery is next Wednesday. I might have some flashback posts popping up while my eyes are resting.

I’ll leave you with this quote from a Commentary on Romans that I’m reading from John MacArthur;

“God is the only source of goodness, and therefore everything good and worthwhile a person has is from the gracious hand of God.”

Take care and go in God’s goodness!

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. Your clematis plants are so healthy and bounteous!!! I lost the 2 I planted last year. Not sure why. Had them on the east side of the house. They looked really promising by the fall when they went dormant. Come Spring…dead as doornails.😕🙄

    Best wishes on your cataract surgeries! I had both eyes done last fall.

    Have a good time on Tea Day this Father’s Day weekend!!!!!!! Just sit back and be the Queen that you are!

  2. Beautiful flower. Don’t have any but I pass some on my walk – they haven’t bloomed yet though.
    Prayers that all go well with your surgeries.

  3. Beautiful clematis! All the best with your upcoming ‘eye improvement’ treatments. Elmer says you won’t be sorry.
