Master Bath Before and After

Oops, look away, I forgot to close the lid and pretty up this space before I took a photo. But in my defense I took this photo with my phone to get an idea of the space above the toilet for reference in choosing a piece that would fill the space better, decorator wise.

And the reveal. The walls are a light grey color called Quartzite. Do It Center paint manufactured by Sherwin Williams. We both have commented that Quartizite has a hint of lavender.

We are pleased with the new look. Hats off to my professional in house painter, Dear.

Yikes…he’s started in on the upper kitchen cabinets as I prepare this post so we’ll have some more before and afters in the future.

  1. Looks fabulous. It is so great to have Greg able to do all the work. That was one thing I was always so thankful for that Nick could repair, fix almost anything.

  2. Looks very nice and fresh. I like the hint of lavender. (Course what I really was thinking, once I saw your husband’s haircut, was how we are sporting the same look. ☺)

  3. Ellen – nice choices in décor. Fresh and modern. Well done to you and Dear! (We used to have some of those 1980s bulb lights in our first house – don’t we sometimes wonder how such things were ever considered de rigueur?)

  4. Looks wonderful!! It always feels good to clean out, clean up and redo rooms that have served us for years. Enjoy the fruit of your labors! Congratulations on a job well done!

  5. I just love before and after shots! Such a beautiful change! It’s hard to believe how paint and new light fixtures can change a room! Well done, to both of you!

  6. Oh, I do love a good before-and-after . . . and this is a good one!! LOVE your floor and the paint has made such a difference! It is a lovely, fresh space! Great job, both of you!!
