Moisi’s kids at his funeral, oldest to youngest, Kathy, Vera, Ellen, Tim, Steve, Lana and Leonard.
The next generation. Moisi’s grandchildren and great grandchildren with spouses.
It was an exceptional day of mourning and rejoicing for the life God gave to our dear old Pop.
When I get back to a place of quiet in my brain I’ll post a complete recap of our laments and our rejoicing.
…what a lovely family!
It is never easy burying a loved one but it is a nice time to meet with family members. I love the photos. Take care and God Bless You. ((Hugs))
Debby, We’ve reached that time in life where extended family gatherings are at funerals. Yikes. Thankfully we do not despair but cling to our hope. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing the pictures, Ellen. Such a beautiful family your mother and dad started! xx
Although I only met your pops once, he left an impression on me of a righteous man who loved God and his family. Well done, good and faithful servant.
How nice to have the family together to give tribute and honor to your Pop. I almost feel like a knew him…that good and faithful servant.
I realise this must be a sad time for you and I am saying a prayer for you, your family and your Pop. However, it must be a comfort, I think, to have such a large, loving family to share the sadness, to take care of each other and to laugh and smile together as you share your happy memories. Blessings. x
Thank you Mrs. Tiggywinkle. Typing your blogging name makes me smile. It was good to laugh and cry together for sure!
I see a family blessed by the love and prayers of godly parents and grandparents. How special that he had so many who loved him and will remember him. May we all look toward that day when we will meet face to face with our loved ones again.
This photo brought tears to my eyes – your family and Pop – so much to be proud of!
