Saturday was a multitasking day at this old house. The girls prepared Russian Easter Bread, our sweet cheese spread, packed boxes, took photos and paintings off the walls. Dear gathered up items we wanted to sell and Josh took over my phone and managed the photos and listings for us and responded to the inquiries and we sold several items, cha ching! We were exhausted at the end of the day but were satisfied with the successful results of working together.
On Easter morning we were texted this collage of Addy’s first experience with bubbles.
We celebrated our risen savior at the 8 am service and it was glorious!
Our peeps gathered at 11:00 am for our Easter meal together. Yummy.
Our phones alerted us to a text coming in and we saw our little Easter bunny from across the mountains who was zonked out after attending Easter service with her parents.
We missed these three at our celebration but are always happy to get photos via text!
Hope you all had a joyful Easter weekend.
You had a full weekend. I love seeing your family photos/collages. Addy with the bubbles are a cute collage. Wishing you a very nice week.
…sweet!
Hello, looks like a very happy Easter for you and your family. Love the sweet Addy photos. The food and breads look delicious. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
It looks like you had a wonderful Easter, Ellen!
What a great day! Easter is one of my favorite holidays. We enjoyed lunch with Joy and Will at the ranch. 🙂
Love Addy’s hat!
Addy loves that hat, too, because it’s her outside hat. She points to it when she wants the door opened to go outside. Too cute. It’s so soft and nice and appreciated, too, Thank you Willow!
Awwe, such a sweet photo! Glad you had a good celebration with your family. That sweet bread looks very much like our Mennonite paska, which we make for Easter as well.
Such wonderful photo memories of a blessed Easter!!! Your Easter Bread looks amazing!!
Such wonderful memories of Easter 2018 documented here!
You were so busy. The bread sounds delicious! Looks like you had a wonderful Easter Sunday.
Ellen, it looks like a special family Easter. Beautiful Russian bread and I bet it was tasty too. It’s amazing how you can connect with Addy and her parents through technology. Blessings
Love the shot of you ladies in your aprons!
I should have taken a page from Addy’s book on Easter Sunday … I was a lector for the Easter Vigil on Saturday night, and then up early for our Sunday Mass …. pretty pooped come Sunday afternoon!
What fun to have peeks at your Easter on both sides of the mountains! I, for one, am a huge fan of the way modern technology keeps us connected!
It sounds like a full weekend for you! Celebrating and getting organized for the move and cha ching . . . all good! 🙂
There might be many wonderful things about the olden days but none of us would choose to go back to sending photos through the mail! I love how instantaneously you can see sweet Addy!
I was also thinking how special to be able to do these “virtual” visits even though far apart.
Glad you had a wonderful Easter!
