I Surrender All
All to Jesus, I surrender;
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
Refrain
I surrender all, I surrender all,
All to Thee, my blessèd Savior,
I surrender all.
All to Jesus I surrender;
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
Refrain
All to Jesus, I surrender;
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
Refrain
All to Jesus, I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power;
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
Refrain
All to Jesus I surrender;
Now I feel the sacred flame.
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His name!

I’m posting this hymn in honor of our dear old pop who is waiting for His Savior to take him home. “All to Jesus I surrender, humbly at His feet I bow, Worldly pleasures all forsaken, Take me Jesus; take me now.” He is currently in Hospice care in my oldest sister’s home. Dan, Jamie, Addy and I will hopefully have a nice visit with him on Monday, introducing him to his newest Great Granddaughter.
January 14, 2017 above and the next four at grandson Joe’s wedding.
Most of pop’s grandchildren and great grands.
At my mom’s funeral in 2013.
My pop praying a marriage blessing on Katie and Andrew, 2012.
Me and my pop from 1973 and 2017.

God’s blessings on your Pop. Love the pics of you and he. Precious memories.
My dear husband was ready to go near the end of his time here on earth, he just didn’t want to leave me here. I had to let him go to Jesus, and Jesus welcomed him home.
We will be reunited again one day, and praise Jesus our Almighty God forever and ever for His wonderful love for us.

What a beautiful appropriate hymn to tell of your Pop’s wait to go home. The Word says, “Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His saints.”
May this be an especially beautiful time in the life of your family. I have so enjoyed over the years your stories of Pop! What a precious sant!
…enjoy your family time.
We sing this hymn at church often. It’s hard to say good-bye to loved ones but when you know they are on the way to heaven it makes it so much easier. And to know we will see them again one day.
Sending good thoughts to your sweet pop and to all of the family.
This dear old hymn brings back such fond memories. God’s blessings on your family as they traverse this next season of life.
Oh, how sweet and how fitting a hymn at this time! I can’t help but see such a dear sweetness that can come with age. It comes down to a choice.
Hello Ellen, I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been thinking of you and especially yesterday was praying that you had a good visit with your pop and that he enjoyed meeting his newest great-granddaughter. Addy would win anyone’s heart.
Sending ((HUGS)) and prayers to you and your family. That is one of my favorite songs. Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos.
