Black Friday

Click on over to the Mennonite Girls Can Cook blog to see the easy recipe for these French Toast Rollups that are a fun way to serve breakfast or brunch.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at the home of dear friends with so much good food and good cheer. There were 44 of us!

When we came home last evening we noticed several homes in our neighborhood had put up their Christmas lights. It’s time for the “Season of Light”. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5 (ESV)

Today is Black Friday. Are you shopping today?

  1. Hello, the french roast roll ups look delicious. Thanks for sharing your link and recipe. Wow, 44 for Thanksgiving Dinner, what a fun time. The Christmas lights are my favorite decorations, they look so pretty at night. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

  2. No shopping for me. I’m going out to the retreat house to pray with the ladies there and because the day is going to be warm and bright, it will be a gorgeous drive. I’m so glad you had a lovely Thanksgiving, Ellen!

  3. Sounds like you had a wonderful celebration. Our Christmas lights came on in town on Thursday so everything is looking sparkly. I must admit to boycotting Black Friday just a bit too much commercialism for my liking ! Hope your home improvements are going well. B x
