My daughter and I took a hike in a neighboring city this past Saturday. We are fortunate here in the state of Washington to have many beautiful forest hikes and trails to choose from that are in and about our cities. More photos from this hike are in the post before this one on my blog. Redmond Watershed Preserve is where this photo was taken. Redmond is across Lake Washington from Seattle.
I’m linking up to Our World Tuesday. If you’d like to see photos from around the world click over and check out other posts.

Now that really is a cool bench and a nifty way of saving a chunk of a favorite tree that was lost…my mind is on hurricanes…and the maple that is down in my neighbor’s yard right now. Hope that you and Katie take that hike again perhaps when autumn color is at its peak and perhaps with the men along.
Wonderful shot from hiking.
Beautiful! I love hiking this time of year!
Ellen – looks like a lovely place for a hike – I love this shot with the long view of the path. Cool!
…a great way to enjoy the day!
Oh what a beautiful place and photo ~ you are blessed ~ thanks, ^_^

Now that looks like a bench I would love to sit on (so many look rickety and splintery)
So misty and green — the PNW is great for that and for wonderful places to hike. So glad to be getting back to normal — today was an umbrella and sunglasses day for a walk!
It looks like a beautiful place to go for a hike.
Love those hikes in the forest! Such serene and calmness there. Beautiful bench too! 🙂
Isn’t the Pacific Northwest glorious? And I love “The Happy Wonderer” name…lovely play on words.
