After Tea on Wednesday Katie and I had a nice stroll through Calvary Cemetery close to the Queen Mary Tea Room. Calvary Cemetery is a Catholic Cemetery.
This copy of The Pieta was in the section of the cemetery where nuns are buried.
We are enjoying time in Northeastern Washington and I hope to share a few posts soon about our time.
Hope your weekend is tiptop!

This cemetery is so beautifully situated. There are so many ornate headstones.
Love those photos of the blossoms
…Ellen, what a lovely cemetery. Of course the angels are favorites mine. I always photograph crosses because I am fascinated by how many styles I find. Cemeteries are a cultural display, we all handle grief and show our faith is different ways. Lovely post.
What a beautiful cemetery, Ellen. It looks like such a peaceful place; I’ve always been fascinated with cemeteries and the stories they tell. Thank you for sharing your lovely pictures and enjoy your weekend.
Hugs,
Denise
Wonderful photos, Ellen. Hope you have a lovely Sunday.
Beautiful place … when we traveled all the time, we often took a walk in cemeteries for the quiet, for the community history you can learn from the stones, and for the birds.
