We and many other people who live in the greater Puget Sound region of Washington have been enjoying the Cherry Blossoms at the University of Washington.
So thankful of the beauty in our region.
Katie and I met up with Andrew who is studying at the U at the end of his day and then I drove them both home. It started raining on us as we headed to the parking garage.
Twenty Nine Years in Washington State and this is the first time I made a special trip to the University to enjoy the Cherry Blossoms. I hope to make it a yearly event while we are on this side of the mountains.
We have had two dry days here this week. Hoping for more to come. Is it dry, wet, hot or cold where you are?

This was your FIRST time??!?!!?!? Oh, my gosh! Isn’t it wonderful when you are surrounded by such grace and beauty? I know it won’t be your last time! This is so pretty!!! It has been raining for 14 days straight here now. This is a welcome virtual respite.
Amazing!!! It’s mild but rainy over here today. Our apple blossoms won’t be blooming any time soon (usually around Mother’s Day). Katie and Andrew are such a sweet couple.

Oh my iPad sent too soon ;). it’s hot and humid and ready to rain this morning here in SW Florida…we are catching the tail end of nasty storms up the corridor a little ways. It won’t last too long here.

Mostly dry here in Northern Ireland, but can be cold or warm depending on the vagaries of the day. Cold and grey today. That is the most extensive display of blossom I have ever seen! Thank you for sharing it x

Your pictures are beautiful! We moved to WA 28 years ago and I’ve never been to UW to see the cherry trees in bloom. And we only live a few minutes north! I guess I should put it on my ‘to do’ list!
So gorgeous! One of the best things about Spring, in my opinion, are the flowering trees!
