Snoqualmie Falls

Dear, my sister Vera and I drove to Snoqualmie Falls on Saturday January 28th. The falls weren’t at their fullest on this trip.

On this day we decided to hike down to the bottom of the falls. Our first time to do this.

It was nice to have a different view.

The river was fast and furious and frothy!

After our hike down the trail and the harder hike up again we decided a nice cold brew and good meal were the next thing to enjoy.

Linking up with ABC Wednesday, F is for Snoqualmie Falls. Thank you Mrs. Nesbitt, Roger and the friendly ABC team.

Flashing back to Sunday evening and our early Valentine’s day celebration with our kids Josh and Laura. I’ll share more tomorrow. Happy Valentine’s Day ABCers!

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. I’ve lived on the West Coast for how many years and I’ve never been to Snoqualmie Falls. Must remedy that. I have driven into Crystal Cove, mostly to see what it was, but I didn’t stay as it was a summer day and the traffic was horrid. Maybe on a rainy day?

  2. Oh wouldn’t I just love to do that hike! Alas, my back is bad again and am waiting to see if I need another surgery. But a car trip to the top or across from it would work for me. Love your photos, Ellen!

  3. Lovely picture of the Falls, The contrasts in the water
as it bursts over rocks is amazing.
