Our Western Washington kids planned brunch out for their dad in downtown Seattle at The Carlile Room, a Tom Douglas restaurant.
Dear chose the biscuits and gravy. Such a pretty presentation.
We all enjoyed our choices of Meaty breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Deep Fried French Toast and we were happy that Andrew went with the Hunter’s breakfast served on this silver platter…
Conversations revolved around new Traeger Grills and the grill related gifts the kids got their dad. We might or might not have solved many world problems, too. It’s always good to gather round a table filled with good food to enjoy some communication with each other.
It was a beautiful day in Seattle with blue skies and a few wispy clouds. We decided to head to Kerry Park on Queen Anne Hill and see what we could see.
The views were amazing and the crowds were out with the same idea we had!
Things are a bit busy today in Southern California for my Pop and other related dads so I called him yesterday to wish him a Happy Father’s Day. Good thing I did cuz I just got this text photo of my tired out Pop with my siblings enjoying the moment.
Hope your Sunday is going well and that you can get a little nap in. He woke up for this next one…
Happy Father’s Day Pop!

Looks like you had a lovely brunch with your kids. Aren’t grown-up children wonderful?! You got some good family shots overlooking the harbor. I’m glad you got into some of them 🙂
My sis could send a similar photo of my dad who does a whole lot of napping these days. Those are cute photos of your dad and your siblings. God love them all. Your Seattle Father’s Day was spectacularly beautiful! I know that your darling had a fantastic day. I can tell by his beautiful smile. Well, you all have beautiful smiles.
Looks like a perfect Father’s Day … with a great family! You had my favorites at your brunch .. just looking made my mouth water!
Hmmm.. just one thing missing – May I wish you grandchildren for next Father’s Day?
Smiling here! I can imagine how you would have loved to be there too, but your time with your own family (minus 2) looks pretty amazing too!
Glad you had a great day and that your Dad did too!
Great family gatherings, both of them. My sister and BIL took us to that Seattle park a couple of years ago … Such an amazing view and your family accentuates the beauty! We were so happy to be with our Colorado family for Fathers Day.
Lovely! I got to wish your Pop Happy Father’s Day as the church prayed for fathers.
So sweet nikkipolani!
Awesome photos of a very special time together. Love the photo of your sweet dad too.
Those photos of your pop are the best of the bunch!! You obviously had a great day, too.
