In waiting in the backup line at the Peace Arch Border crossing from Canada to the U.S. I snapped these photos of some signs. These signs are the obvious signs that let you know you are in the good ole U.S.A.
This next photo is a different kind of sign that lets you know you are in the U.S.A.
Long may she wave!
Linking up to signs, signs with Lesley.
In joining a gym with my Medicare Supplement Silver Sneakers option some muscles that have been happy being dormant are now screaming at me and not happy that they have been woken up out of their slumber. Hopefully this next week I will tame these beasts! Otherwise this week is going well. How’s your week?

As soon as you cross the border right away it feels like you are back home… even if you still have another 500 miles to go.
A nice collection, Ellen!
there are Blue Star highways here also.
Andy has it right!
Love all the signs! Especially the stars and stripes. 🙂
Happy day friend!

Keep up your workouts at the gym, but go slow and take it easy in the beginning. One doesn’t lose weight or get fit in a single workout. Lovely signs. I am always glad to get back to the U.S. of A. after traveling to foreign lands.
I would love to pose with the welcome sign.
My SIGNS, SIGNS
I love seeing such signs when I return home from wherever.
There’s no place like home — USA.
I so understand about waking up happy, sleeping muscles. Take it slow and easy.
Good luck with the gym. You take for granted that you are fit then along comes a little extra excercise and muscles hurt that you didn’t realise you had! A good soak in the bath always helps 🙂 B x
A very welcoming sign. Though having passed through that border many times myself, I know the control staff on the US side isn’t always so friendly.
