The images I’ve chosen for the challenge are all from the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. My daughter Katie and I visited the grounds on our recent SeaJack road trip from Seattle to Jacksonville the week of April 28th through May4th. We visited the Biltmore Estate on Saturday May 3rd. Soon I’ll share an entire post of our time on the grounds.

Thank you Donna for your challenges!
Today in Jacksonville, North Carolina Katie and I are chillin in the apartment and not venturing out at all. It’s good to have a do nothing day!
…just taking my breath away with all your beautiful colors…..:)
Visiting the Biltmore Estate is on my bucket list. Even more so after seeing your great pictures.
Pretty flowers at the estate and the pink azaleas are absolutely stunning.
Ellen…these are breathtakingly beautiful photos!
These are beautifully colourful photos. Biltmore looks like a wonderful place to visit.
So beautiful. Wonderful photo of you and Katie in front of the azalea bushes. Oh I sighed a sigh of relief myself just thinking of you both getting a day to relax with nothing on the docket. You both deserve it!
Lindas fotos, lindas cores, lindas flores, lindas mãe e filha!

Hope you and Katie have enjoyed your relaxing day. I’m sure it felt good to prop your feet up for a while. 🙂
What gorgeous photos….especially the one of both of you in front of the lavender azalea! I’ve spent a lot of time at the Biltmore over the years and it’s always beautiful. Can’t wait to see more of your photos from your trip! Sweet hugs, Diane

Beautiful, colourful flowers! A road trip sounds like a good way to spend time with your daughter too. Enjoy the rest of it.

Great to see the colours in your neck of the woods. Great photos! We’re still brown (not even green grass yet). But sometimes the sky is blue and that’s a beauty.
Lovely colourful flowers- that yellow lily is spectacular. I think I need to put the Biltmore Estate on my “Must Visit” list!
Stunning begonias- nice close-up shot too!
Great choices! Wow, you really visited Biltmore at a peak time with the azaleas in blooms. Even your daughter’s red hair is getting showcased for the “colorful” theme, LOL. Wishing I was chilling right now in the NC hills too! Thanks for joining in the challenge again this month.
Beautiful and colorful post. Lovely flowers! Wishing you a HAPPY Mother’s day and week ahead!
The colors are GORGEOUS!
