The sun came out, the flags came out, our friends came out, the food came out and we enjoyed a grand 4th of July!

I didn’t take photos of all the food. We had smoked brisket that Dear prepared, cole slaw, a loaded salad, eggplant parmesan, and desserts.

It’s hard to believe Dear has to go to work today. I’ll be off kilter the rest of the week with this Independence Day landing on a Wednesday this year.
We have a forecast of summer here in the Northwest finally. Hope all is well where you live…
Oh my goodness you’ve been a busy beaver! Wow – what a celebration! Everything looks amazing and so glad the sun came out for your day.
You really DID celebrate! Wow…the food all looks amazing…and that’s not even the half of it! Wonderful decorations, too!!! I just love the look of bunting! I’m so glad the sun made an appearance for you so that you could celebrate! I know what you mean about being off kilter for the rest of the week. It’s just plain weird when holidays fall smack dab in the middle like that!
So glad you had sunshine for your big day! I heard that the odds of sunshine on July 4th in Seattle are pretty slim…so that makes it all the more special. And you made it all most special…I see!
Now that looks like the way an Independence Day celebration should look! Great hostessing Ellen!
(So I am not alone feeling day confused? Bernie got back in town on Monday so Tuesday felt like Saturday, yesterday felt like Sunday…but today is Thursday? )
Looks like it was a lovely celebration. We’d trade you a little sunshine for some of your rain!
Looks like a fun day!
Wasn’t that a party! You do it up so well with even the food in the old red white and blue!
It looks like you have a very nice place for folks to gather no matter the holiday.
My, everything looks so festive and everyone looks happy…looks like a party to me!! 🙂 Glad the weather co-operated!
What a beautiful patio…I loved your theme…color , friends, patriotism.
Looking forward to our time together next week…
Ellen, this does look like a grand 4th of July celebration. Your decorations are beautiful, and so is your food! I am back at work today too, and I am also so confused about what day of the week it is. laurie
Looks like fun times with lots of good food, Ellen!
It all looks so festive and cheery. I’m so glad that the sun cooperated. It was strange to have the 4th in the middle of the week, but it wouldn’t have been the 4th if it were on the 7th as my grandson suggested. Hope that the fireworks ended at a good hour so everyone got some sleep.
You throw a great party, Ellen! Everything looks so festive and fun, and you all look so happy.
You celebrated with a Bang for sure…Lovely!
Looks like a great party!
