Those hop on Hop off tours are the best. Enjoy your day. Ellen
Hop on? Hop off? Oh that sounds crazy to me. =D You’re a brave one! Glad that the sun is out and I hope that it stays that way so Chicago won’t totally live up to its reputation.
You go girl – sounds like you’re doing it right!
Looking at your photos in the last post makes me hungry. And this one is so interesting. I mean, for us, a lake is in the wild, nature. Here, highrises at the lake front.
It’s hard to believe Lake Michigan is a lake and not the ocean. It’s so huge! Our lakes in Washington are smaller and surrounded by nature, too, instead of high rises. There’s a reason this string of lakes are called the Great Lakes for sure…
I don’t know if you ever knew that my parents lived just north of Chicago when I was in college. I lived with them in the summers and visited at Christmas. Whenever I walked along the shore of Lake Michigan, I was always amazed that it wasn’t ‘salt water’. A fresh water lake so large that it looked like the ocean (including the waves) surprised me.
Ellen..as you look across the lake, I am on the other side. Sometimes we can see lights of Chicago from our shore! Wish I was able to be there with you to hop on and hop off…have done it many times! ENJOY….
Sounds like a fun tour, I like doing ones at my own pace. Beautiful shot of Lake Michigan.
