Baba and Dzeda

It was such a blessing for all that my folks were able to attend Levi and Kristin’s wedding. My mom got released from the hospital on Saturday, went home and got ready for the wedding. Here are the photos of them enjoying the wedding.

My dad blessing Levi and Kristin along with Levi’s maternal grandparents and Kristin’s grandmother.

The handsome groom and beautiful bride with my parents.

Baba with Jack (great grandson), Hope (youngest granddaughter) and Avery (great granddaughter).

My parents with all their grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. There are 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren missing.

Thank you to all of you who prayed for my mom. We appreciate your prayers and concern. She is so thankful that she could attend the wedding and her pain has subsided.

More photos of the wedding are forthcoming. Two of our bloggy friends are having daughters get married in May, too. Looking forward to Pondside’s photos and Mille Fiore photos.  And then in the summer Rosella’s daughter. Fun times are afoot!

We had such a rain storm yesterday. It really gave our new roof and patio covers a good workout.

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. How wonderful to have your parents at the wedding. And I’m so glad there are photos. I regret not having a photo taken at our wedding with my grandparents and urged my children to do so at theirs. It’s a wonderful memory to treasure. What a happy and lovely family.

I think the table decorations of herb pots are so charming. What a fun venue – in a hay barn!

  2. Oh how I LOVE that picture of your mom with the three little ones….precious. Looks like an interesting wedding venue….can’t wait to see more pics. I really think you need to share your rain with us…..the farmers have gotten the crops planted and no rain for several weeks. My flowers would appreciate any one who shares the moisture. (c: Joy to your day!

  3. Your mum and dad remind me of mine – so engaged, so happy to be together and so happy to be with their growing family. Your mother looks so pretty in her wedding outfit – it suits her beautifully and honours the bride’s colours. I love it all!
Taking a break here from playing all sorts of games with the grands (and it’s not even nine yet!) and planning the tying of pew markers for later today – all fun!

  4. Beautiful – what a good looking family and lovely wedding …………thanks again for sharing your pictures with us!

  5. Okay, that was a totally cool venue and I loved the photo where you were peaking through the bales of hay as the flower girl was being prepped! And your mom and all the grandkids…there is her treasure! her legacy! How awesome!

  6. Very special photos, Ellen. LOVE…the pics of Baba and the little ones, what precious expressions on their faces 🙂
